"Disappointing. I had high hopes. I did everything correctly and it was still pretty uncomfortable and painful. The electrode must have malfunctioned after the third use because the device also zapped my head while wearing it. The electrodes are also too costly and you're going to have to subscribe to them for years. Also the app is very buggy and didn't connect well to the device."

Probably an essential tool in the arsenal against migraines and particularly useful in pregnancy. As a Physician I strongly recommend it without reservation."

app needs a lot of work

"It's still too early to tell if the Cefaly device is helping with my migraines (Cefaly says it takes a minimum of 3 months to see results, but asked me to write a review only a few weeks after purchase). What I can report immediately is that their app is not what you'd expect to accompany a $500 purchase! The device will not stay paired to the smartphone app, so you have to re-pair it each time you use it - and sometimes more than once! The device disconnects from your phone if you get them more than 2 feet apart, so it's really inconvenient to have to keep the phone right next to your head for the whole 20 min or 60 min of the treatment. And each time you have to re-pair, you have to re-enter the code for your device, even though the app already has that code and shows it to you just before you have to enter it yourself! I could go on and on, but everything about the app shows poor execution and lack of trouble-shooting."

"I bought this out of desperation after moving to a new city and waiting for weeks to see a new doctor. I really did not expect it to work. Instead, it has been a game changer. As others have said it is not a cure for me but it has made such a big difference I keep it with me most of the time. I use it every night ( it makes me very relaxed). For some reason I look forward to using it every evening. It took about a week to ramp up the intensity to max and now I love the sensation on my head. I would definitely recommend it."
